The players smashed the world record by playing pool for 72hrs straight without stopping.
At 7.02pm on 3rd August 2011,they completed their final game with a score of 335 to Colin and 321 to Marc.
The estimated amount raised is almost £2,400 for the charity and the players have also had confirmation from Guinness World Record that they broke the world record.
Well done to Colin and Marc and thank you to everyone involved.
On Saturday 20th August our very own adventurous teen, Matthew Garner and his dad Russell completed a sponsored jet ski from Hartlepool Marina to Whitby.
Matthew who is 15years old and has cerebral palsy, attends Heel & Toe for conductive education therapy and wanted to help raise money for the charity by doing something he really enjoys.
Matthew was joined on the journey by Tyne Tees News presenter Pam Royle who has set up a justgiving web page to help raise much needed funds for Heel & Toe.
Thank you to Matthew, Russell and Pam for your support.
